I love the compositions captured by @notai Prachi Pramodh (@olivegreenanddenim on Instagram) and the raw energy of Jigar Patel's work (@urbanlens_ on Instagram)
To me, as an urban researcher and writer, street photography is an important tool for documenting the city. It captures people and places, built form and nature, colour, texture, material, form and life in a time capsule. A single photograph can hold multiple stories. That's what I am trying to capture in my City Haiku series.
You are one of the most interesting street photographers out there. So its obvious to share your name. I would love to hear some of your favorite contemporaries out there. Please share.
I found so many new photographers through this piece. Thank you Uday!
Glad to hear. Thanks
That truck cabin shot! Love it more than the rest :)
